Leipziger Typotage & Exhibitions
16 Apr 2013, Posted by Uncategorized inNot far from our homebase lies the city of Leipzig – famous for it’s bookfair , the academy of visual arts and the museum for the printing arts.
Everyone interested in type should take a trip next week. First of all there will be a one day symposium on type in the 21st century with a nice selection of speakers (german only though). Accompanying the talks is an exhibition that showcases newer letterdesigns curated by Will Hill (Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK). Also on display is an exhibition called Woodcut Cycle. It shows the history of printing from the ancient world to the digital age.
