Another fabulous thesis on modular type comes from Mia Rockel. ‘No hidden Message’ holds some great examples written in Processing and explains very well why file formats like Postscript limit the expression of typedesign by reducing letterforms to an outline shape. A really interesting read on the future of writing and why we should re-think our system of static letters.
